The Spirit Royale

Spirit Yachts teamed up with specialist yacht designers Rhoades Young on the plans for a stunning 34m motor yacht; the Spirit Royale. Staying true to the classic lines and the elegant wooden builds synonymous with Spirit Yachts, Spirit head designer Sean McMillan and the Rhoades Young team produced this majestic motor yacht design on the back of increased interest in Spirit motor yachts.

The accommodation onboard the Spirit Royale is spacious, whilst retaining Spirit’s classical and sophisticated style. A light and airy owner’s suite located on the main deck offers a 200° panoramic view with double doors opening out onto a private foredeck.  The cabin itself has an en-suite with bath, shower and twin basins as well as a large dressing room with ample hanging space and a dressing table.   A writing desk and fitted settee offer options for a peaceful work and leisure space away from the main party of guests. Guests have the option of two double and two twin cabins on the lower deck. All guest cabins have either opening skylights or portlights as well as en-suites with separate shower cubicles and plenty of storage space.

With input from the Rhoades Young team, guest areas have been well thought out, with careful consideration given to the lifestyle and the functional requirements for guests and crew. Both practical and impressive, the full height staircase under an octagonal glass atrium provides access to the main saloon, lower saloon, wheelhouse and guest cabins. The spacious saloon offers impressive entertaining space with the option for furniture to be specified by the owner. With the possibility to seat ten guests for dinner, the Spirit Royale has been designed for wining and dining as well as intimate family time.

Features

As a secondary lounging area, the lower saloon has additional seating and a drinks bar with surrounding stools. The pièce de resistance of this lower saloon is the ‘fold-out’ hull section that merges the interior and exterior of the yacht for ultimate waterside luxury. The opening hull creates a large open outdoor swimming and sunbathing platform complete with swim showers and provision for tenders to come alongside and drop off guests. The aft area on the main deck has been designed for long lazy lunches or formal dinner parties for at least ten guests with additional seating and sunbeds for relaxing in the sunshine.

On the bridge, the wheelhouse is well equipped with glass instrumentation and joy-stick ‘sky-hook’ control. Panoramic windows offer 360° views for the two watch keepers from their elevated seats, which are positioned forward of additional guest seating and a separate navigation table. Back on the lower deck, a well-equipped crew area comprises a captain’s double cabin, additional twin cabin and a comfortable crew mess area.

The commercially equipped galley and laundry space contains a refrigerator, freezer, ice-maker, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, five burner range and microwave, amongst other amenities. Crew access is direct to the main saloon without any inconvenience to guests. Finally, Spirit has included an 8.5m Classic ‘Slipper’ style harbour launch and a 4m ‘Whitehall’ style sailing dinghy, both of which are housed aft on the upper deck with crane launch direct to the water. An additional 3.6m Williams jet drive RIB is housed under the foredeck, also with crane launch direct to the water.
