The Spirit 50CR (cruiser-racer) offers a balance of sailing performance with more interior volume than the Classic Spirit designs. The overriding design stays true to Spirit’s style with increased headroom and beam for added space down below for cruising comfort.
Owners suite forward: Large king-sized bed with bedside tables, overhead and reading lights. Low level mood/night lighting fitted. Efficient ventilation and hatch installed over the bed. En-suite facilities with separate toilet/basin and shower cubicles, both with overhead hatches for light and ventilation. Plentiful hanging locker space plus multiple cupboards and drawers.
Guest double cabin: Queen sized bed with bedside shelves, and overhead and reading lights. Full height wardrobe with further hanging space, cupboards and drawers outboard.
Day-head/ shower: Second bathroom with shower, basin and toilet, with overhead skylight for natural light and ventilation.
Saloon: Large saloon with dining seating for 6 around central table. Sofa arrangement on starboard.

Galley : 100ltr front opening fridge. Three burner gas cooker with grill and oven below. Double sink with mixer tap. Refuse bin mounted under work surface. Tailor-made stowage for cutlery, crockery and utensils supplied by the client.
Navigation station: Large aft facing navigation table with stowage for Almanac, pilot books, charts, instrumentation etc. Portlight in aft coachroof for light and ventilation plus direct communication with the helm position. The chart table may be forward facing with a single navigator’s berth behind as an alternative.
Rig: Carbon fibre mast and boom with nitronic rod rigging.
Aft deck: Large spacious aft deck with plenty of room for sun-bathing. Small lazarette lockers for gas bottle stowage; self-draining to atmosphere. Large lazarette for stowage with access to stowed dinghy and all cruising equipment. Access through aft deck hatches lifting on balanced gas struts. Cockpit locker for safety equipment on the starboard side (if single navigator’s berth is chosen this locker is not fitted).
Mooring: Primary anchor Delta 15kg mated to 75 metres 8mm calibrated chain mounted on at the bow with self-stowing rollers. Lewmar vertical windlass complete with remote deployment and stowage from the helm and foredeck. Through bulwark fairleads fitted to foredeck, midships and stern. Mooring cleats fitted inside bulwarks.
Helm: Instrumentation to clients requirements. Ritchie 5” steering compass fitted to binnacle. 42” Mahogany and stainless steel wheel fitted with steering brake. Single lever throttle and gear change lever near helm position.
DC electrics: Mastervolt mass combi ultra 12/300-150 charger/inverter with option to add solar charging. Mastervolt Alpha 12/130 second alternator charging a bank of 2 high capacity MLI Ultra 12/2500 Lithium Ion batteries. Mastervolt AGM 12/90 engine start battery and AGM 12/130 dedicated bow thruster battery.
Deck safety: Fixed push pits and pull pit and demountable stanchions fitted with flush deck sockets and s/s guardwires. Strong points for harness attachment in the cockpit and for jackstays.
