Exclusive opportunity to experience world-class craftsmanship, see yachts in build, and step onboard award-winning Spirit yachts in the water
Spirit Yachts will showcase its world class modern classic yachts at its UK headquarters on 9th – 10th May. Hosted exclusively for interested parties, the event offers a unique insight into Spirit’s design and build process.
Guests will have the opportunity to tour the yard and view projects under construction. Current yachts underway include two refit projects (a Spirit P40 and a R52 sailing yacht) as well as new builds comprising: a Spirit R30, two P50 motor yachts, and the Q Class commission. On the water will be three Spirit sailing yachts open for viewings: a R30, a C50, and a C72.
Spirit Yachts Sales Director, Julian Weatherill, commented, “The private view event offers the opportunity to learn how we design, build, and refit our sail and motor yachts. The Spirit yard is a special place, full of world-class craftsmanship, where you can experience projects evolving from a drawing to a finished yacht in the water.”
Julian continued, “In the yard, guests will a get a complete picture of the design and build process for both sail and motor yachts. In the water, we will have a range of yachts on display from our R30 day sailor to our C50 cruising yacht, and our stunning C72, designed for long distance cruising and regatta racing.”
The event also offers an exclusive first look at Spirit’s new P50 designs, details of which are set to be revealed later this year.
Julian Weatherill added, “The P50 is borne out of demand for a classically styled motor yacht, which delivers on performance and a luxury onboard experience. Working closely with the owners, we have developed an Open P50 with a large aft seating and al fresco dining area for warmer climates. From this design came the Enclosed P50, which is the same hull design adapted for Northern Europe and exploring locations where guests need more protection from the elements.”
