Spirit Yachts has announced it is hosting its biannual Recruitment Open Day at its yard in Ipswich, Suffolk on Friday 15th May. The event forms part of Spirit Yachts’ drive to recruit experienced boatbuilders and establish a pipeline of talent for the future.

Spirit Yachts Managing Director, Karen Underwood, commented, “With a yard full of projects in build and significant client interest ahead of the launch of our first P50 motor yacht this summer, we are expanding our talented team. In particular, we are looking for experienced boatbuilders and people who share our passion for working with wood.”

Spirit Yachts is opening its doors from 10am – 4pm on Friday 15th May. Applicants will have a tour of the yard and gain an exclusive insight into the company’s design and build process.

Karen continued, “We held two recruitment days last year, which were extremely successful and resulted in full time employment for seven new team members. The open days give us the opportunity to find new talent, and for potential employees to have a look around, get to know us, and see if Spirit Yachts could be the next chapter in their career.”
